Laura has over 8 years nursing experience with the past 6 years specializing in corrections. She has worked with multiple jails and county prisons ranging from large too small. She has worked closely with different facilities during Department of Justice, American Correctional Association, and National Commission Correctional Health Care audits and accreditations. As a Certified Correctional Healthcare Professional through the NCCHC she is very passionate and dedicated in providing the highest quality healthcare. Laura is also a certified instructor in Basic First Aid, Blood Borne Pathogens, and CPR PRO/AED with the Health and Safety Institute training center.
Laura has strong intuition and the ability to sense the client’s true needs and satisfaction levels. With TransformHealthRx, Laura works with the operations team and assists with the direction in policy compliance in the correctional setting, Continuous Quality Improvement, Continuing Education of medical and security staff, assisting in new client start-ups, accreditations, and customer satisfaction. She also works closely with the sales and marketing team with participation in the Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina Sheriff’s, Jails, and Jail Administrators Associations.
